This may seem like a somber way to lead into an email about joyful family Fall photography, but I don’t want to ignore the elephant in the room. This has been a tough year.
What do you want your kids to remember about their Covid year? For me, it’s the family closeness, video calls with grandparents, and our community’s resilience. As well as those many walks in the cooler Spring and, hopefully soon, the crisp Fall. Mostly we’ve been grounded in gratitude for all that we have.
I want to hear about your story this year and how to capture a little bit of that family magic you have created for your children. Let’s accentuate your children’s memories of this season not for the uncertainty, but for the long walks in the park, the playing with the puppy, and the warm home that you have wrapped around them.
All it takes is capturing a little of their routine: bedtime snuggles, bathtime bubbles and making all that bread. Or throwing caution to the wind and swinging from the trees.
Nothing seems as important this year as the ones you love most, even if you get tired of being in the same place with them day after day. I look forward to hearing your family’s story!
