New Orleans Family Photographer
Senior portraits in the French Quarter are exactly as magical as you`d imagine.
The streets are quiet in the early morning. The light is soft and golden and doing everything right. And a few blocks of wandering — past iron balconies, painted shutters, and corners most people walk right by — can produce more variety than a location three times the size.
Phoebe came all the way to New Orleans for her senior portraits. And honestly? The city showed up for her.
We ducked into doorways, hidden staircases and found cafes to swap outfits. We found pockets of color around every turn. And she had the whole neighborhood practically to herself.
That`s the magic of the Quarter. History, texture, that unmistakable New Orleans energy — and when you time it right, none of the chaos.
When you travel for your senior portraits, you want photos that are worth the trip. I`d say we nailed it.

The Louisiana Children’s Museum in City Park at sunset is genuinely one of my favorite hidden gems for senior sessions. The colors, the textures, the light filtering through at golden hour — it’s chef’s kiss every single time.
And there’s something so fun about a senior session in a space built for little kids — especially when I’ve been photographing this girl since she was a little kid.
Sadie showed up ready for anything — and I mean anything. (Goggles at the ready. 🥽)

A quick walk around Saura’s uptown neighborhood offered so many great backdrops from the colorful murals along Prytania St. to the quiet picket fenced homes on her block.
