We spent a late afternoon wandering the Bywater — Addison in the most beautiful, colorful dress, looking like she belonged right alongside all those painted houses. Her mom close by, arms full, ready for anything. And every so often, I’d look up and catch her watching with tears in her eyes, so proudly watching her Ben Franklin girl.
And then came the moment that made the whole afternoon feel like something out of a dream. We were invited inside the @marignyoperahouse Marigny Opera House — and that staircase. Addison on those steps in the late afternoon light. Pure magic.
What a gift of an evening with this one.

I have been photographing this guy since he was tiny, and somehow he turned into this confident, kind, absolutely cool human being. We wandered around Algiers Point at golden hour with his whole crew — his little sister and brother who could not stay out of the frame, and parents who were just radiating pure love and pride the entire time.
And then we hit the levee. New Orleans skyline behind him, sunset doing its absolute most, and Catrell repping his future — Case Western Reserve University, here he comes!
Willow Class of 2026, this one was so special. Catrell, I cannot wait to see everything you do next.

Jules didn’t want the same senior photos as everyone else at her high school in Kentucky.
She wanted New Orleans.
So her family made it happen — an early morning session in the French Quarter before the city even had a chance to wake up. Wrought iron. Cobblestones. Light spilling down streets that don’t look like anywhere else on earth. Jules moved through it all with this quiet elegance that felt completely at home in the most beautiful neighborhood in America.
