This year is a big one! Let's make these memories last a longtime.

Your senior photos should be something you want to share with your family and friends. You should be excited to see it in your home as artwork.

Capturing this moment in your life is an important as finishing high school is a game changer. Let's capture you as you are right now, you are only a senior once.

And the best part is we have a few things that no one else does. New Orleans and You.

I’ll send you your online gallery no later than 2 weeks after our photo session. I’m more than happy to suggest digital prints, albums, or wall art to display your photos. Keep in mind the prints, albums, and wall art will be sold separately from the booking fee for your session.

HOw Does a senior session work?

Senior photos are a little different these days. Gone are the stuffy poses your parents might remember. Creative casual senior photos are sessions that provide a much more fun experience and photos that you will love to share. It's an empowering and unique experience for seniors and can be emotional for moms (and dads) to watch.

First thing is to schedule your date and start planning your wardrobe. Two outfits are usually best, one dressier and one casual. Your photo session will last about 1 hour and is usually scheduled in the morning or late afternoon light.

Make sure to check out this guide for How to Prepare for Your Senior Photos for tips!

I’ll be in touch as your date approaches to go over where we will be meeting, your time spot, and any details you need to know.

What's Included in my Senior Session?

Your booking fee reserves your session date, location photo-permit, and my expertise as your photographer.

All digital images, prints, albums and framed art work are available for purchase through your private online gallery after your session. Collections (digitals and print) begin at $575 for 3 digital images.

If you are a new client, make sure to email Jennifer at mail@twirlphotography.com for a full pricing catalog.

How do we know what to do during a Photo session?

That’s a great question, you don’t have to know how to pose or even stand still for that matter. We will often start with a very simple portrait to break the ice and get any nerves out of the way.

From there, it’s about keeping you moving, laughing and being naturally you. I will lead the way.

I’ll be leading you along through your photos to flattering poses and emotive moments that speak to the person you are at this moment in time.

how many images will we get to purchase with our photo session?

I underpromise and over-deliver. I promise a minimum of 30 images in your gallery but typically there will be more. When your gallery is ready, no more than 2-weeks after your session, you will receive a link so you can review your images and purchase a collection or from the a la carte menu.

I’m here to help you find your favorite photos that make your heart sing and I feel pretty confident that you will like a lot of them. Your gallery will be open for 7 days when you can place your final order.

Should I get Professional Hair and Makeup Done?

I highly recommend you get a blow out for your hair but make up can be tricky. Make sure you do a test run with a make-up artist you like. You want a natural and fresh-faced style that enhances your natural beauty and doesn't age you. Many of the seniors I photograph are very good at doing their own makeup and prefer to look natural. However, a really good make up artist can take it to the next level and elevate your photos.

who and what should I bring?

This is a fun experience for not only you, but also your mom. After all, they did drive you around endlessly at the very least. I always try to slip in one photo at the end of you and your mom (so be ready moms). And of course dads are also welcome to join in too!

Other than just yourself, your best accessory might also be your dog. If you don't mind sharing the spotlight, please bring your favorite pet to your senior photos, we will definitely get them in a few!

If you have your cap and gown or an acceptance letter bring it along, we can make sure to celebrate your decision!
