I asked Magnolia if I could share this picture. She said yes. I could have picked a happier picture of the day, as most of the day was filled with her usual joy. But sometimes the sadness is just as important in life. Especially when you are six and tired and everything feels too big and scary. And sometimes I can’t do anything but hold her hand through it, if she will let me. {Photo-a-day is a personal project to photograph my children everyday in the month of July.}
