Every year I take great joy in looking for outfits for my two children for their Spring pictures. Shopping for their clothes is the fun part.
The hard part is getting them dressed, hair-combed and ready on picture day. By the time we start, everyone’s in a bad mood, dad hates being there, kids are not listening, and I’m just hoping for one good photo- and I’m the photographer!
This is what I love about being your photographer, when you arrive to your photo session, you can hand over all that stress to me. I will take it from here!
Documentary portrait sessions are all about connecting and having fun. I want you to chase the kids around, sit and relax as they cuddle in your lap, and let them get those sillies out by jumping up and down. I hope to capture a little of your child’s personality with belly laughs, tantrums, pouting, sibling hugs, and lots of wiggles.
One of my strengths as a family photographer is guiding you in the documentary style to find those candid moments and making this fun for your family.
Being able to relax, trust your photographer and let you kids run around and have fun makes photography shoots much easier and your pictures better!
So don’t worry, we got this.
I would love to photograph your family this Spring. Contact me to schedule your session.
