Confession time: I am a TERRIBLE procrastinator when it comes to the holidays. My family has two birthdays in December that inevitably are thrown together last-minute as we juggle the very busy recitals, plays, school finals, holiday parties and holiday shopping.
It took one somewhat stressful Christmas Eve for me to get my act together. Let’s just say there were some heated words exchanged between me and my husband over a complicated build of a toy house in the wee hours of the night. I made a promise not to let this happen again and plan ahead.
Have I been perfect about procrastination in the years since? Definitely not!
But I’ve gotten better about planning for my busiest time of year… and I know I’m not the only one who could use some help!
Why? Because EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR I get calls from people wanting to schedule sessions for the holidays in October, November… even December. And by then, there’s not much I can do. My books are
full.
This year, I’ve got a strategy for helping you breaking the procrastination habit:
If family photos are a priority for your family each Fall, reach out soon to schedule. Fill out my contact form. I’ll help you cross of Fall Family Photos off your list! And you will have everything back in plenty of time for those holiday cards.
I can’t wait to see you this fall!
