Not only does a professional portrait session capture this special moment in your family’s life, but you get to create new memories together. Your kids get to chase after you, give you big monster hugs, and teach you how to make silly faces. In between all of the joyful chaos, we are walking and exploring a neighborhood or a park. Many a stick has been found; some even taken home. There are lots of giggles and hand-holding.

A Full Family Session is a custom 45-minute session at your desired location, date and time and includes both candid and traditional portraits. This might be at your home, a visit to a park or wandering around a historic neighborhood. We work together to find a location that is both convenient for your family but also makes your heart sing. A full session allows for plenty of time to pose in combinations that include kids, parents and pets. A Mini Session is a 25-minute session at a curated location of my choosing with set time slots. This is a great photo shoot option for families who want to know where and when to show up and love the iconic, historic homes and gardens that often require photo permits. This year, some of the Mini Session locations include Longue Vue House & Gardens, Race + Religious, The Hermann Grima House, The French Quarter and the Pitot House.
