I love it when parents have great ideas on where to photograph their child. Sophie’s parents introduced me to the wonderful backdrop of the Ormond Plantation where for $25 you can explore the old French West Indies style home. Built in the late 1780’s, it provided the perfect spot to follow 1-year-old Sophie around just a few weeks shy of meeting her new baby brother. Sophie’s cousin Brooke, 4, however, proved that all you need to make a good picture is pretty flowers and a lot of energy.
