New Orleans Wedding | Audubon Tea Room | Margaret & Andy

There were so many great little quiet moments at Margaret and Andy’s stunning wedding. After their ceremony at St. Francis of Assisi they celebrated with a dance down the aisle and then jumped into their limo for a private embrace as newlyweds before heading off to the Audubon Tea room for a party. Some of my favorite moments of the day included Margaret’s mom fixing her bow as she reminisced about the many times she tied a bow for her little girl. Bridesmaids hurriedly steamed their dresses and then helped the bride as they oohed and awed at her elegant gown. Andy had a lot of help from his groomsmen as they tried to figure out how to put on suspenders. A last minute okay sign given by the bride to her maid-of-honor before walking down the aisle. The groom’s dad jokingly showing his empty pockets before the start of ceremony. And the absolute joy wedding guests had singing along to a Journey song belted out by the fantastic band, Groovy 7. It’s these little moments that make a wedding truly special. I’m so honored to have been there to capture them. Congratulations Margaret and Andy.
