Josephine | New Orleans Newborn Photography

Ten-week-old Josephine traveled back to her mom and dad’s hometown of New Orleans just in time to join in the revelry of Mardi Gras and soak in some love from adoring relatives. What a privilege it was to photograph four generations of women. Josephine, her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother are striking together and clearly their vivacious spirit and brightness has passed to the newest generation. Josephine moved from one set of arms to another until it finally was too much and she drifted off into deep slumber. I hope your travel home to Brooklyn went well, and come back soon little Josephine.

It was so nice to meet you, Jennifer & I’m thankful for your patience with us. Your summary of Josephine’s visit was beautifully stated. My favorite photos are the first 4 generations & last of J with her parents.
