I have such great memories of growing up in Tucson, Ariz., and the many adventures I had with friends. But I have few photos of those times, such as this much dated picture of me and my friend Michelle giving her cat Tiger a ride. (I’m the one on the right.) So when I considered what to photograph for my most recent Twirl Photography ad in Nola Baby & Family Magazine, I couldn’t resist capturing a play date with my 3-year-old daughter Magnolia and her friend Sophie. I provided a suitcase of fancy princess dresses and let them do the rest. The two friends oohed and ahhed over the outfits as they switched costumes. They jumped and ran around in excitement, giggling and role playing. This is such an important time in my daughter’s life, when just playing with someone else who shares her love of the color pink is the ultimate thrill.
