Parrots, treasure and pirates gave 3-year-old Athens plenty of reason to marvel as he celebrated his birthday at an elegant Old Metairie home last weekend. The adorable boy darted from bouncing to seeking hidden treasure to whacking pinatas with his friends and family, many dressed like pirates. A beautiful cake created by Flour Power was a centerpiece that every child found hard to resist. It even included a couple of pirate dogs that resembled the family dog, Elvis. Happy Birthday Athens!
