As a New Orleans maternity photographer, I create relaxed, natural pregnancy photos that celebrate this season of your life, whether that's just you, you and your partner, or the whole family with big siblings. Sessions happen at beautiful spots around the city, like City Park, Longue Vue Gardens, or the quiet side of the French Quarter. Most moms book between 28 and 34 weeks, and your online gallery arrives within two weeks.
It’s true the moment your baby is born your world changes. But let’s not forget the wonders of pregnancy. No one will ever get to experience what it’s like carrying your child but you. Even with swollen feet, a sore back, and mind-boggling cravings at all hours of the day, you’re a superhero. You deserve to be celebrated.

Your family is growing, and it can sometimes feel like forever before you get to meet your little one. So why not mark this milestone with maternity photos? This is the start of life into parenthood, and trust me, nothing compares to it. This is just one of many milestones to come, and I hope to join you and your family and help capture each moment along the way.

1.
We’ll find a time to talk through your maternity portrait photo session and decide on all the details: a date, time, and location for your photoshoot. Feel free to ask me any questions about the process, rates, wardrobe choices, or what to expect.

2.
After reviewing my packages and prices, if you’re ready to move forward I’ll send you an electronic booking agreement to sign. Once that’s signed I’m officially your maternity photographer! Keep in mind that a Booking Fee is due when we schedule your photo session to lock in your spot.

3.
On the day of your maternity photo session, we’ll meet at the designated location for a 60-minute session. Don’t worry about posing or looking perfect for the camera. I want this experience to be a fun, relaxed, and totally YOU moment.

4.
Your maternity portrait gallery will be live 10-14 days after your photo session. You can view your photos online and I can suggest the right prints, wall art, albums, and other keepsakes to choose to display your photos. All images and keepsakes are sold separately from the booking fee.

Thank you for these amazing photos Jennifer! I never thought I could feel so beautiful, as a very, very pregnant lady, but you make taking pictures so joyous and carefree. Thank you for your help guiding me in what to wear and helping me and my husband know how to stand. I can't believe this is us in these amazing pictures. Thank you!!! - Julia
Most moms book between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you're still comfortable moving around. I recommend reaching out early in your second trimester to hold a date.
I photograph maternity sessions at favorite New Orleans spots like City Park, Longue Vue Gardens, Bayou St. John, and the French Quarter. We'll pick a location that fits your style and is easy to walk. Check out the Best Photo Locations in New Orleans
Absolutely. Partners and big siblings are part of the story. We'll take photos of the whole family, then some just of you and your partner, and a few of you on your own.
Flowing dresses and fitted styles both look beautiful, so wear what makes you feel confident. Solid colors and soft fabrics photograph best. Looking for something new? Here's my guide to where to shop for maternity clothes in New Orleans.
Yes, and it's a lovely way to tell the whole story. Let me know when you book your maternity session, and I'll save a spot for your newborn session around your due date.
Your online gallery arrives within two weeks of your session. From there, you choose your favorites and order digital images, prints, albums, or wall art.
Before your bundle of joy arrives, let’s celebrate your journey into the world of motherhood. Take this time to honor your body and the life you’re carrying.
Yes Please!
About Jennifer
When you work with me for your family, maternity + newborn photos, you’re getting a lifelong professional in my field (not just a photography enthusiast) dedicated to providing families with meaningful portraits of the most special time in their lives whether it's the big moments or the smaller ones.

Happy Halloween to all the kids living their best make-believe lives today. The capes, the crowns, the homemade costumes held together with tape and hope — this is the best kind of magic. And to all the parents that made it happen! I always love when I get a sneak peek during my October photo sessions of what’s to come on Halloween day. 🎃

There are a lot of reasons I love my job, but if I’m being honest, I might be in it for the baby snuggles, the doggie kisses, and the occasional free marshmallow. Nobody has to know.
The belly laughs, the happy chaos, and the “wait, that’s ME?!” moments at the back of the camera don’t hurt either.
Reach out to book your family photos and bring the marshmallows.

Parents of big kids, this one’s for you. It’s easy to think family photos are for the toddler years. But as these kids get older, they just get more interesting, love being silly again, and being the center of your attention during a photo session.
Are family photos fun? Oh, you betcha.
I’ve photographed this family for years, and this teen/tween session might be my favorite yet.

Pick one. French Quarter stairwells, colorful Bywater streets, Spanish moss in City Park, urban neighborhoods such as Algiers Point or private courtyards like Race + Religious?
Comment your favorite below. I’m curious which one wins.
Every senior session starts with picking the spot that feels most like you. Whether you’re the girl who wants the ironwork and shutters or the one who’d rather be under the oaks, there’s a corner of New Orleans that fits.
Class of 2027, I’d love to help you find yours. Fall senior sessions have begun!
