New Orleans Family Photographer
One of my favorite parts of planning a summer session is helping you find the right spot — somewhere that beats the heat, feels like this season and no other, and actually fits your family.
Here are a few locations I come back to again and again:
Sunset at The Batture — golden light, quiet water, and enough breeze to make July bearable.
Hansen`s Snoballs — because a kid holding a snoball is basically a guaranteed good photo, and a great excuse to cool off.
Skateboarding at Crescent City — for families with kids who`d rather move than pose.
Splashing in the children`s fountain at Audubon Park — instant joy, and a built-in way to beat the heat.
Any backyard sprinkler — sometimes the best spot is the one you already have.
Sunset on the beach at Bay St. Louis — a little farther, but worth it for that end-of-day light over the water.
Wherever we land, my goal is always the same: photos that feel like this exact summer, not just any summer.
