There is a definite trend going on with new families. Parents are deciding not to find out the gender of their child until the birth. I couldn’t hold out that long when I was pregnant, and as soon as it was clear on the ultra-sound, I started collecting pink blankets. I so admire their self-restraint and the soft grey and tan walls that decorate each nursery I’ve been lucky enough to visit. Little boy Sullivan was a surprise to his parents who had a list of girl names ready but hustled to find the name Sullivan in a book shortly after his arrival. It’s a fitting name for a gorgeous baby. Welcome to the world Sullivan!
