Well, that time has arrived again, another July 1, the first day of a month that I push myself to capture the magic of my kids. This is the 12th year of this personal project and it’s always a little daunting on the first day. 

This year, my kids are 16 and 10. 

For as long as they will let me, I’m going to follow these beautiful humans around with a camera. I am so grateful that I put in the work for the last 12 years of daily photos; our July albums have become love letters to my kids’ childhood which is quickly passing by. 

So here’s to whatever 2024 brings. It’s a hot summer- so bring on those sprinklers, beaches and lakes.
