Perhaps that's why you have been putting off a branding or headshot session. Rest assured, I totally understand and have been there. But I also know how great it feel when it's all done and you have a great selection of images you can use across your website and on social media. Here's what you don't need to worry about when you hire me.
1. Feeling awkward in front of the camera? That's not a problem when you have a professional telling you exactly how to turn, sit and walk for the most flattering and unposed looking pictures.
2. What to wear? I'm so glad you asked, that's one of the specifics we will be going over before your session.
3. Where to take pictures? I have so many suggestions on best time of day and place to make you pictures the best.

Figure Out The Details
You and I will hop on a call to chat about a headshot session and answer any of your questions. We’ll discuss pricing and packages, best wardrobe choices, and location options. We’ll also chat about what you intend to use your headshots for, as this can influence the style and approach we take with your portraits.

We’ll Make It Official
Once we’ve worked through the details and you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send you an electronic booking agreement for you to sign. At this time a Booking Fee is also due, which will secure your spot on my calendar.

Get Ready For Your Closeup
We’ll meet for a headshot session at the location of your photoshoot. This could be at your business, an open street market, a park, or a neighborhood —depending on the type of headshots we’re taking. I want to capture who you are in an environment that best represents this phase of your life.
4.
Your Gallery Is Live
You’ll be able to check out your live headshots portrait gallery 7-14 days after our photo session. Each photo will be lightly touched-up. Additional retouching is available. You can select the pictures you love and purchase extra digitals and products from your gallery. All extra prints and products not included in your package are sold separately from the booking fee.

How long is a headshot session?
Most professional headshot sessions are about 30 minutes, which is plenty of time to try a few looks and backgrounds without feeling rushed
I hate being photographed. Will this work for me?
Absolutely. Most of my clients say the same thing. I give simple, specific direction the whole time, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.
Where do headshot sessions take place?
You can choose my garden studio in Mid-City or an on-location session at your office or a spot around New Orleans that fits your brand. I designed the studio with women in mind, with a calm, comfortable space to get ready, but everyone is welcome.
Do you photograph actor headshots?
Yes. Actor headshots should look like you on your best day, so I keep them clean, natural, and true to the roles you go out for. We’ll plan your looks together before the session so you leave with options for your casting profiles.
What should I wear for my headshots?
Solid colors and simple necklines work best, and bring one or two options so we can switch looks. We’ll talk through wardrobe on our planning call so your photos fit how you’ll use them.
Are my headshots retouched?
Yes. Every photo gets a light touch-up, and additional retouching is available if you’d like it.
When will I get my headshots?
Your online gallery goes live within 7 to 14 days of your session.
Do you photograph teams and companies?
Yes. I photograph teams on location at your office, which keeps everyone’s headshots consistent and saves your staff a trip.
