French Quarter Wedding | Christine and Richard | New Orleans Wedding Photography

Chris and Rich traveled from their hometown of Chicago to hold a lovely destination wedding in New Orleans. Family and friends joined them for a quaint wedding ceremony and reception at The Musée Conti Historical Wax Museum in the French Quarter just a few days shy of the New Year. Guests mingled among the wax characters of a Voodoo priestess and Napoleon Bonaparte for cocktail hour and then danced in the warm hues of the upstairs ballroom. Walking around with this vibrant couple at dusk through the old world ambience of the French Quarter made gorgeous pictures. We even stopped by the flaming water fountain at Pat O’Brien’s while strolling for portraits.  This city makes my job easy with its richly textured backdrops and light. But nothing makes my job easier than photographing two happy people like Chris and Rich.
