Swanna and Christian | French Quarter Wedding | New Orleans Wedding Photography

Swanna and Christian had a uniquely New Orleans wedding that incapsulated all the wonders of being in the French Quarter yet also was completely them. After getting ready at the Monteleone and crashing a busy Carousel Bar for some portraits, Swanna and Christian walked over to the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum where the courtyard was transformed into a gorgeous space for their ceremony thanks to wedding coordinator extraordinaire Mary Spera of Spera Special Events. Guests teared up as a gospel singer sang Ave Maria. Then they were surprised when the bride and groom finished their vows with their own rendition of the song “Home,” asking the audience to join in. After glasses of pink champagne, the group second-lined over to Muriel’s where they danced the night away, enjoyed local cuisine and had their private palm reader in the seance room. It was a distinctive celebration of Swanna and Christian’s charm and love for one another. I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it.
