Marigny Opera House| Nathalie and Brett | New Orleans Wedding Photography

Brett and Nathalie’s choice of venue for their wedding, a 160-year-old former Catholic church being transformed into a community focal point called the Marigny Opera House, was fitting for this eclectic, sophisticated couple. Their remarkable planner, Mary Giblin Spera, pumped lights into the stained glass windows along the arched ceiling for the evening event and installed a living wall covered in greenery to serve as a backdrop for the couple’s vows. Guests enjoyed a three-course meal at four tables running the length of the sanctuary. The couple created a quintessentially New Orleans atmosphere for their celebration, both weathered and refined. The evening finished with key-lime pie and brandy, followed by a migration over to Mimi’s in the Marigny for some more spirits and music.
